Das Internet Archive arbeitet mit dem Internet Preservation Consortium (IIPC) zusammen, um web-basierte Materialien zum Coronavirus zu sammeln. Geeignete Webseiten können auch von der Öffentlichkeit via Beitragsformular eingereicht werden. Die Informationen werden bald auf der Website der IIPC verfügbar sein (via Internet Archive Blogs):

„Due to the urgency of the outbreak, archiving of nominated web content will commence immediately and continue as needed depending on the course of the outbreak and its containment. Web content from all countries and in any language is in scope. Possible topics to guide nominations and collections:

• Coronavirus origins
• Information about the spread of infection
• Regional or local containment efforts
• Medical/Scientific aspects
• Social aspects
• Economic aspects
• Political aspects“
